Prom 2025

Nate and Laila are two of my favorites from the Lincolnton High Band, and over the years, they and their families have become like family to me. Recently, they reached out with a fun idea: a 90’s-themed prom shoot. We started at the Lincoln Cultural Center, which was technically closed, but serendipitously, the curator arrived and invited us to shoot inside. Nate and Laila, both active in theater, thrived in the dramatic, staged environment. From there, we moved downtown for some classic shots, and then wrapped up with a few edgier images in Nate’s car. It was nostalgic, creative, and a total blast capturing their personalities.
